Save Money. Save Nature. Start in Your Backyard.

Turn 10% of your yard into a native oasis. Cut your water bills, lower your AC costs, and bring birds and bees back home.

Cooler Homes

Two shade trees near your attic can drop temperatures by 22°C and cut AC costs by up to 50%.

Lower Bills

Native plants soak up 30% more water and need less maintenance.

Better Health

Using ladybugs instead of chemicals reduces allergy risks for children.

More Birds

Turning just 10% of your grass into native garden can double the birds in your yard.

About Me

My Name is Nihal Pathuri.

I am a student leader, researcher, and environmental advocate dedicated to bridging the gap between human progress and nature’s survival. My journey is driven by a deep care for animals and the environment, which I put into action through diverse leadership and volunteer roles.

As the Director of Advocacy for SDG Champions, I lead community service initiatives including environmental advocacy, cleanups, and food drives. My commitment to wildlife is hands-on; I serve as an Animal Care and Exhibit Steward at the Heard Museum, where I help maintain exhibits and care for animals.

Through BiodiversityBridge.com, I am combining my scientific background with my leadership experience to show my community that sustainability is not just a global necessity—it’s a personal benefit that improves our health, our homes, and our future.

Mission

To bridge the gap between humans and nature. My goal is to help every neighbor grow native plants to lower their living costs and restore the balance of our local wildlife.

My Research

My research focus combines environmental history with modern ecological sustainability to better understand how our past informs our future. Evolutionary Ecosystems: I am currently developing a comprehensive, 4,000+ word research paper intended for high-impact publication. Scientific Depth: I am collaborating with a Immunology Subject Matter Expert and Creative Lab Writer to articulate the intricate science of fossilized melanosomes. Historical Biodiversity: This project explores palaeological ecosystems to provide a deeper understanding of how biodiversity has shifted over time.

Leadership

I lead community-driven projects that turn environmental awareness into real-world action.
